Over one weekend, French official guidance transitioned from “be cautious” to ordering fines for being in public without documentation attesting to legal purposes.

I paid 1,500 euros to book an emergency flight from Paris to Detroit, leaving just hours before the European Union its closed borders. My MBA will transition to distance learning until September.

This is my story of the 22 hour journey. My day started at 3 AM in Paris.
